BITCOIN BLOOD
Simple passion project centered around the market dive Bitcoin took shortly after December 2017. Everything "went red", so to speak, after Bitcoin infamously topped out with a $19,000 record high. I wanted to use my fresh introduction to Houdini as a cold jump into animating and exporting alembics to Cinema 4D. Overall, Houdini is more incredible than I could've imagined.
I made quite a few mistakes. Mainly, somehow messing up the scaling properties of the Flip solver in Houdini which made the animated particles very triangulated and glitched little boxes randomly. Also forgot about the subdivision render settings for picture viewer vs. picture renderer in C4D, as well as the final simulation looking more like jelly instead of blood lol.
I look forward to WAY more Houdini experimenting in my workflow, though, it's too addictive.
